Sessùn
Sessùn creates subtle and distinctive women's fashion.
Playing with volumes and materials, and reinventing timeless classics alongside the
codes of masculine/feminine, Sessùn tells the story of a free-spirited and inspired
woman. Since its beginnings, the French brand has embraced a conscious approach
rooted in quality and the celebration of craftsmanship. Sessùn stands out for its
meticulous attention to detail, its strong values, and the expansion of its universe into
a genuine art of living, celebrating that beauty is in the journey.
Sessùn seeks harmony in silhouettes by playing on contrasts. The collections blend
vintage and contemporary influences, drawing on a wealth of cultural references.
Masculine tailoring and more sensual, feminine pieces come together in subtle
dialogue. Generous volumes meet more fitted shapes, always with the aim of
enhancing the figure. The brand also experiments with materials—pairing raw and
rustic textures with more refined and delicate fabrics, creating a balance between
authenticity and sophistication.
In 2023, Sessùn became a Société à Mission, marking a new chapter in its
commitment. This was further affirmed in 2024 when the brand was officially certified
as a B Corp, recognizing its global social and environmental impact.
Sessùn is now present in more than 500 points of sale worldwide, through its own
boutiques, store-in-store corners, and multi-brand retailers. Among them is Sessùn
Alma, opened in Marseille in 2019. More than just a shop, Alma is a carefully curated
space, offering a refined selection of international designers and books that inspire
the brand—an expression of its passion for creation, culture, and beauty in all its
forms.
This passion also comes to life in the Sessùn Craft Prize, an international
competition launched in 2023. Open to young makers aged 18 to 35, it celebrates
contemporary craft across disciplines and geographies.
Over the years, Sessùn has built lasting connections with artisans—ceramists,
photographers, upholsterers, basket weavers, architects, musicians, and
filmmakers—nurturing a lively and evolving dialogue between fashion and
craftsmanship.
“Over the years, the brand has grown, matured, expanded but always in a coherent
way, never losing its common thread, and prioritizing this curiousity about the world.
We have in fact remained faithful to our style and our values, always following a
conscious approach focused on quality, respect and the love of beautiful things.”
Emma François-Grasset, founding president and artistic director of Sessùn.
